Finding the right character
Here is the trick to find any special character ... very useful when you write lyrics and you need special symbols
When necessary, for example, when you write an e-mail, stop writing and click the Fonts button at the top of the Mail window. When the Font dialog box, choose the menu-up actions (the icon with a cog in the lower left) and click the Character ... to open the Character Palette. At the bottom of this window, see a search field. Type what you need, such as "acute accent" (without the quotes) and instantly see a menu with different accents. Double-click sull'accento desired pallet and pass the sign that you need. Next you should see the character looking. Select it, then click the Enter button (or Insert with Font if it is set as the glyph) to the right of search. At this point, the letter appears in the right place in your e-mail.
